According to statistics from Foresight News, there were a total of 52 investment and financing events in the crypto market in July 2025, including 19 in tools and infrastructure, 5 in the DeFi sector, 16 in asset management, 6 in the blockchain game and NFT sector, and 6 in the Web3 sector. The total disclosed investment and financing amount was approximately 1.523 billion US dollars. In addition, a total of 28 listed companies have disclosed the purchase or plan to purchase crypto assets.
Some investment and financing projects this month are sorted by the amount of financing as shown in the figure below:
There were 2 financing deals exceeding 100 million US dollars this month, including the 100 million US dollar Series B financing completed by artificial intelligence laboratory Harmonic, led by Kleiner Perkins; and the 100 million US dollar financing completed by content subscription payment platform Substack, led by BOND and others.
There were 21 financing deals at the ten-million-dollar level, including Stable completing a 28 million US dollar seed round financing, led by Bitfinex and Hack VC; Yuanbi Technology completing a 40 million US dollar Series A2 financing, led by ZhongAn International and others; lending platform Salient completing a 60 million US dollar Series A financing, led by a16z; Gaia Labs obtaining 20 million US dollars in financing, led by ByteTrade and Mirana; Poseidon completing a 15 million US dollar seed round financing, led by a16z; Spiko completing a 22 million US dollar Series A financing, led by Index Ventures; stablecoin company Agora completing a 50 million US dollar Series A financing, led by Paradigm; and game studio Distinct Possibility Studios completing 30.5 million US dollars in financing, led by Bitkraft Ventures and others.
Among the subdivided tracks of investment and financing, the asset management, tools and infrastructure sectors were relatively hot this month, while the DeFi, NFT and blockchain game sectors were relatively sluggish.
In terms of institutions, active institutions this month include a16z, YZi Labs and Coinbase Ventures, etc., mainly focusing on the asset management, tools and infrastructure sectors.
The purchase of crypto assets by listed companies continued to be hot this month, with a total of 28 companies purchasing or planning to purchase crypto assets, including XRP reserve company Webus receiving a 100 million US dollar credit line financing from Ripple Strategy; DDC Enterprise having completed 528 million US dollars in financing, with net proceeds used to purchase Bitcoin; Nano Labs investing in BNB strategic reserve company CEA Industries; listed company Upexi reaching a 500 million US dollar equity financing agreement to support its Solana reserve strategy, etc.
