Canada terminates double-counter investigation into U.S. renewable diesel
Source: Interface News
According to China Trade Relief Information Network, on May 5, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) ruled that there is no sufficient evidence to show that the dumping and subsidies of US renewable diesel have caused damage or threats or industrial obstacles to Canadian domestic industries. The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has terminated a preliminary investigation into the industrial damage of US renewable diesel. Therefore, the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) terminates the anti-dumping and countervailing investigation of renewable diesel in the United States, and this resolution will take effect from May 6, 2025.
On March 6, 2025, Canada launched an anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation into renewable diesel originating from or imported from the United States.
