Fonte Capital launches Bitcoin ETF BETF in Kazakhstan
According to Foresight News, according to CoinDesk, Kazakhstan asset management company Fonte Capital launched the first spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) in Central Asia on the Astana International Exchange (AIX) on August 13. The fund is trading in BETF and is denominated in US dollars. Each fund share is backed by physical Bitcoin, custodial services are provided by BitGo, a licensed custodian in the United States, and provides insurance coverage of up to $250 million. BitGo adopts offline cold storage and secure vaults to ensure the security of assets.
