Two major summits gather in Asia, WebX Asia opens in Tokyo today

# Can’t-Miss Web3 Events This Week (August 25 – August 31, 2025)  

Below is a preview of the exciting events happening this week:  

## Monday (August 25)  

- **WebX Asia 2025** will be held in Tokyo, Japan, from August 25 to 26, 2025.

- **Bio Protocol** will launch its first BioAgent sales project, Aubrai, with the Token Generation Event (TGE) taking place on August 25. The total supply of Aubrai is 2 million tokens, 20% of which will be allocated for sale.  

- **Lombard**, a Bitcoin DeFi protocol, will conduct a community round public sale of its token (BARD) on Buidlpad from August 26 to September 4, with a valuation of $450 million. Key details of the public sale are as follows:  

 - Total sales amount: $6.75 million  

 - Proposed allocation: 1.5% of the total token supply  

 - Public sale tokens: Fully unlocked upon TGE  

 - Minimum to maximum investment range: $50 – $5,000  

 - Accepted payment tokens: USD1, LBTC, and BNB  

- **Velo (VELO)** will unlock 182 million tokens at 08:00 (GMT+8) on August 25, worth approximately $2.88 million, accounting for 0.83% of the circulating supply.  

- **Venom (VENOM)** will unlock 59.26 million tokens at 16:00 (GMT+8) on August 25, worth approximately $8.76 million, accounting for 2.34% of the circulating supply.  

- The Bonding Curve version TGE of **Binance Wallet** will launch OVERTAKE (TAKE) on August 25. The subscription period is from 16:00 to 18:00 (GMT+8) on August 25, 2025.  

## Tuesday (August 26)  

- **Binance Alpha** will list Alttown (TOWN) on August 26.  

- **Bybit** will launch spot trading for Centrifuge (CFG) on August 26.  

- Registration for the airdrop by the **Camp Foundation** (the team behind the independent IP L1 blockchain Camp) will be open until 23:59 (GMT+8) on August 26.  

## Wednesday (August 27)  

- **Gryphon** shareholders will vote on the merger and listing with American Bitcoin on August 27.  

- **OKX** will delist the trading pairs CATI/USDT, NMR/USDT, ICX/USDT, DGB/USDT, MEME/USDT, JST/USDT, and RVN/USDT between August 27 and 28.  

- The voting window for Solana’s proposal on **Alpenglow** will run from August 27 to September 2. If the proposal is approved, Solana’s finality time will be reduced to approximately 100–150 milliseconds.  

- **Xverse** and **Taproot Wizards** will jointly host an offline event themed "Bitcoin Summit" at Soho House Hong Kong on August 27. Speakers will include Jan (Founder of Xverse), Udi (Founder of Taproot Wizards), and Z3th (Founder of Bitboy).  

- **Demall** will host an offline event themed "DePIN EXPO HK 2025" at Hong Kong Cyberport from 10:00 (GMT+8) on August 27 to 17:00 (GMT+8) on August 28, 2025. Partners include Web3Labs, MetaEra, Techub News, and Cyberport.  

## Thursday (August 28)  

- The **Bitcoin Asia Summit** will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from August 28 to 29, 2025. Eric Trump will attend as a special guest and deliver a speech.

- **Jupiter (JUP)** will unlock 53.47 million tokens at 22:00 (GMT+8) on August 28, worth approximately $27.27 million, accounting for 1.78% of the circulating supply.  

- **Pop Mart** will launch the mini-version LABUBU new product: online sales start at 22:00 (GMT+8) on August 28, and offline sales start on August 29.  

## Friday (August 29)  

- Hong Kong’s consultation on the proposed regulatory regime for virtual asset trading services and custodian service providers will close on August 29.  

- The **Law School of Renmin University of China** plans to host an advanced seminar on legal practices regarding "disposal of involved virtual currencies, stablecoins, and Real-World Assets (RWA)" from August 29 to 31.  

## Saturday (August 30)  

- **Zulu Network**, a Bitcoin Layer 2 network, will pivot to the AI field. Its mainnet and related services will be suspended on August 30, and a decision on whether to restart them in the future will be based on demand.  

- **Kamino (KMNO)** will unlock approximately 229 million tokens at 20:00 (GMT+8) on August 30. This accounts for 6.81% of the current circulating supply and is worth approximately $13.3 million.  

## Sunday (August 31)  

- **Optimism (OP)** will unlock 31.34 million tokens at 08:00 (GMT+8) on August 31, worth approximately $24.28 million, accounting for 1.9% of the circulating supply.  

- The voting deadline for **Sonic Labs’** proposal on "U.S. Expansion and TradFi Adoption" is August 31. This governance proposal outlines plans to establish Sonic USA, an entity dedicated to managing the protocol’s entry into the U.S. financial system. Sonic Labs is seeking community approval to implement a series of strategic initiatives.  

- The claim period for the **CUDIS** airdrop will be open until 20:00 (GMT+8) on August 31. Users must connect their verified Solana wallet and claim the S1 airdrop before this deadline.
