Circle announced a cooperation with Mastercard and Finastra to promote the use of USDC in the global payment system. Under the agreement, Mastercard will support merchants and acquiring agencies to use USDC to settle transactions with Euro Coin (EURC) in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA), and Arab Financial Services and Eazy Financial Services will be the first to adopters.
