The United Kingdom and the United States will set up a Transatlantic Future Market Working Group to cover collaboration in the field of digital assets
Foresight News, the UK and the US will set up a working group to strengthen cooperation in capital markets and digital assets, as part of a series of moves announced by President Donald Trump during his state visit to the UK last week. The Transatlantic Future Markets Task Force will look at how to reduce the burden of "cross-border financing for UK and US companies." The Working Group will also explore “programs for short- to medium-term cooperation in the digital assets field as the legislative and regulatory regimes are still developing” and ways to carry out long-term cooperation. The working group is expected to submit a report within 180 days, chaired by finance officials and include representatives of relevant regulatory bodies. The Working Group will seek advice from industry experts to ensure that its recommendations are in line with the matters of the industry’s greatest concern.
