The program will continue to launch funding projects open to everyone, but it will now be conducted through two channels: wish list and proposal solicitation. These channels are designed to meet the most pressing needs in the ecosystem identified by various teams of the Ethereum Foundation. The former will develop high-level goals that guide key work areas and focus on broader themes rather than specific projects; the latter focuses on clear deliverables or measurable results, including predefined scope, requirements and expected results.
