According to Foresight News, the Tariff Commission of the State Council issued an announcement on stopping the implementation of additional tariffs on some imported goods originating in the United States. The announcement stated that in order to implement the consensus reached during the Sino-US economic and trade consultations, in accordance with the "Tariff Law of the People's Republic of China", the "Customs Law of the People's Republic of China", the "Foreign Trade Law of the People's Republic of China" and other laws and regulations and basic principles of international law, with the approval of the State Council, effective from 13:01 on November 10, 2025 Effective immediately, the implementation of the additional tariff measures stipulated in the "Announcement of the Tariff Commission of the State Council on the Imposition of Additional Tariffs on Certain Imported Goods Originating in the United States" (Tax Commission Announcement No. 2 of 2025) will be suspended.
