Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, said in his speech that formulating a national crypto-asset roadmap is an "undeniable priority" and said that crypto-assets "are an inevitable need for Iran's future economy." Ghalibaf pointed out that the "Seventh National Development Planning Law" requires the proportion of the digital economy to increase to 10%, and achieving this goal "is inseparable from crypto assets."
