Coinbase will move to Texas to seek a more attractive development environment
According to Foresight News, Coinbase issued a statement stating that it has submitted an application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), announcing that it will move from Delaware to Texas for re-registration. Coinbase said it regrets that Texas has increasingly become a center of attraction for innovative companies, but Delaware has left them with no choice.
At the same time, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated that Coinbase has always been committed to increasing economic freedom, which is also one of the considerations when the company chooses a place of registration.
