According to Foresight News, Xinhuo Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. announced that the company’s board of directors plans to conduct a Bitcoin purchase plan totaling no more than US$5 million (approximately HK$39 million) on a public market cryptocurrency trading platform to achieve asset diversification. As of the announcement date, the company has purchased approximately 24.29 Bitcoins at an average cost of US$82,338 per coin, with a total investment of approximately US$2 million (approximately HK$15.6 million). The company stated that it will choose the appropriate purchase opportunity based on market performance and price. Since the purchased transaction is less than 5%, the disclosure requirements of Chapter 14 of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Rules will not be triggered for the time being, but the company will make further disclosures when necessary.
