New UK bill classifies digital assets as new personal property category
According to Foresight News, the British Parliament passed the Property (Digital Assets, etc.) Bill, which also received royal assent from King Charles III. The bill formally classifies digital assets such as cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and other crypto tokens as a new category of personal property under the laws of England and Wales.
