ADGM Registration Authority CEO: Abu Dhabi is becoming a capital of blockchain innovation and has established an emerging technology functional department

According to Foresight News, Solana Breakpoint 2025 was held in Abu Dhabi, and H.E. Rashed Al Blooshi, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) Registration Authority, delivered a welcome speech. It said that Abu Dhabi is becoming a center of capital and blockchain innovation. ADGM launched a comprehensive regulatory framework for virtual assets in 2018 and DLT Foundation Regulations in 2023 to provide a legal framework for DAO and Web3 structures. At present, ADGM has established a dedicated emerging technology functional department focusing on the integration of blockchain and AI, encryption mining, utility token authentication and protocol support. Additionally, ADGM this year issued guidelines on staking activities and announced strategic partnerships to advance cross-chain compliance infrastructure.
