Iran: Ships from China, Russia, Pakistan, Iraq, India, Bangladesh and other countries safely passed through the Strait of Hormuz

# CCTV Global News
Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi reaffirmed that the Strait of Hormuz is **not fully closed** — it is only closed to enemies. The strait remains safely open to Iran’s friendly countries, or to vessels for which Iran has decided to grant passage on other grounds.
On March 25 local time, in an interview with Iran’s state media, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi stated:
“The United States forced Iran to demonstrate its control over the Strait of Hormuz. America thought Iran was bluffing, that Iran did not have the courage to take such action — but Iran did it. The United States used all its capabilities to stop it, yet failed.”
Araghchi reaffirmed:
“The Strait of Hormuz is not fully closed; it is only closed to enemies. This region is a war zone, and there is no reason to allow vessels of enemies and their allies to pass. The strait remains safely open to Iran’s friendly countries, or to vessels for which Iran has decided to grant passage on other grounds. Vessels from China, Russia, Pakistan, Iraq, India, Bangladesh and other countries have all safely transited the Strait of Hormuz.”
