Ripple applies for a US bank license and plans to provide more encryption services
According to Foresight News, according to the Wall Street Journal, Ripple has submitted a national bank license application to the U.S. Agency for Currency Complaint (OCC). If approved, Ripple will implement state-level and federal regulation of the stablecoin RLUSD. Previously, its subsidiary Standard Custody also applied for a Fed main account with the intention of directly custodializing RLUSD reserves.
