PANews July 29th news, according to Cailianshe, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority will hold a technical briefing on the regulatory system of stablecoin issuers at 4:30 pm today. It is reported that the technical briefing will be hosted by the senior team of the HKMA, including Vice President Chen Weimin, Assistant President Chen Jinghong, Assistant President He Hanjie, and Digital Finance Director He Hongzhe. The Hong Kong Monetary Authority has previously stated that it will issue supporting implementation guidelines for stablecoins this month, clarifying core regulatory rules such as anti-money laundering and customer identity identification. Regulatory also reminds the market to look at it rationally and never over-speculate. The number of licenses of the first batch of stablecoin issuers is strictly controlled in single digits and issuance is planned to be completed within the year.
