UK FCA: Businesses will be able to expose retail investors to cryptocurrency trading notes soon

According to Foresight News, the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) opened up retail channels for cryptocurrency ETN, saying that businesses will be able to expose retail investors to cryptocurrency trading notes (cETNs) soon. The cryptocurrency ETN that retail investors can trade must be traded on a UK Investment Exchange (i.e., a recognized investment exchange, or RIE) approved by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The FCA ban on retail investors from contacting crypto asset derivatives will remain in effect. The FCA will continue to monitor market developments and consider how it handles high-risk investments.
