In the future, the gas limit of Ethereum will be increased 100 times from 45 million, and the blobs of each block will also be increased from 6 to 500. However, each node will not be required to verify each transaction, but most nodes will be able to improve efficiency through ZK-based proofs.

With the development of cryptography, "Not your key, not your coin" will become "Not your silicon, not you key", and the trustworthiness of hardware will become the focus of the development of cryptography and security fields. There are already encrypted communication applications including Signal, and the marginal cost of the cryptography technology used is so low that it is negligible, so users have no perception. Vitalik believes that as the cost of encryption further drops, more and more applications will be able to take advantage of low-cost encryption technology in the future, ranging from "Why use ZK" to "Why not use ZK".
